Declaration of the People's Korea Peace Agreement

On July 23, 2020 the NCCK RRC held an international online convocation for declaring a People’s Korea Peace Agreement (PKPA). More than 140 partner Churches and civic NGO representatives including the UCC participated in the online convocation and endorsed the guidelines of the PKPA. (On August we already sent to the UCC a separate report on the PKPA Convocation.) These PKPA guidelines will be a basis on which we, together with domestic and overseas partners, consolidate all our efforts towards the peace and reconciliation movement on the Korean peninsula. We will combine this PKPA campaign with the Korea Peace Appeal 2023 to gain broader support from the member churches and civic groups.
