On Wednesday 15 October ECU is offering students the opportunity to take part in this hands on learning experience about personal safety.

This walking tour is led by a WA Police Officer, and a Constable Care Foundation assistant, highlights how relatively safe areas during the day become riskier when darkness falls.

The three-hour evening educational walking tours of the Perth CBD, and adjacent entertainment precincts, provides people with the knowledge, skills and confidence to stay safe when venturing out.

Whether your heading to ECU City to study in 2026, or venturing out in Northbridge for a big night out, there's a lot to learn. During the tour there is a stop for a quick bite to eat which will be covered by ECU.

Student who attended the September edition of  the event praised it's practical role playing  elements, in-depth information and  described it as a "splendid" experience.

The event runs from 5:15pm until around 8:30pm and is open to current ECU students only.

Secure your spot on the City After Dark tour.
