Being at uni can be exciting, but it’s also a big shift. That’s why ECU City is built with your wellbeing in mind: from support services to green spaces our campus is designed to help you thrive inside and outside the classroom.

Support When You Need It

At ECU City, you’re never on your own. You’ll have access to:

  • ECU Student Wellbeing Services – counselling, mental health support, and workshops to help with stress, motivation, and life balance.
  • Student Hub – your one-stop spot for academic advice, enrolments, financial help, and referrals.
  • Peer Support & Mentoring – connect with students who’ve been there before and know what it’s like.
  • Accessibility Services – ensuring every student has the support and adjustments needed to succeed.

Green Spaces to Recharge

The campus is part of the city, but you’ll still find pockets of calm. Landscaped outdoor areas give you a chance to:

  • Take a breather between classes
  • Catch up with friends in the fresh air
  • Reset your mind before heading back into study mode

Sensory & Quiet Spaces

Sometimes you need stillness. ECU City will feature sensory and quiet spaces designed for:

  • Students who want a calm, low-stimulation environment
  • Moments when you need to regulate, relax, or reflect
  • Supporting wellbeing for neurodiverse students and anyone who needs a break from the buzz
